Looks good, fit good but doesn’t quite do the job I was hoping for.
Definitely better. Maybe I should have tried a larger one, but it wouldn’t have looked right
on the size of fireplace we have.

I have existing fireplace glass doors and was able to install the vent using instructions from a different web site. It required cutting the brackets to fit behind fireplace doors since the glass doors were too tall for the bracket to fit under the lintel. I wish the vent was slightly deeper.

Slight blemish in finish. Looked like a paint run but I used anyway. Didn’t want to go thru trouble of returning.

This is a sturdy and attractive hood. Easy to install and now looks like it's always been there. Would have been easier to install if it included a wrench that fit the screws.
