    It’s a stainless pipe with holes in it and a male adapter welded on. All stainless.

    Should have purchased years ago. Burner length covers entire fire grate and pipe diameter is strong enough to avoid metal droop which occurs with repeated high heat on 3/8” pipe. Stainless steel seems to be holding up much better. I’m thrilled at this point!

    When welded to the npt part it is not perfectly straight so it is pointing off at a very slight angle when installed. But nothing major. Otherwise a solid and nice log lighter.
