The three-sided foldable heat shield is designed to protect the rear fireplace from the heat. The traditional baroque pattern provides a unique accent to a gas log set for an enhanced flame presence. The straightforward design and high-quality construction are backed by the Real Fyre brand, which continues to provide some of the most innovative and realistic gas fire products in the industry. Please note: placing the Fyreback too close to the heat source can cause discoloration.

It seems to help a little, but looks to be worth maybe $ 30 - 40 at the most. Unbelievably overpriced. Terrible value.

The quality is great. I’ve recently order two sets; however when received both showed signs of damage. One had a bent corner which I straightened with pliers; the second large panel had a crescent shaped by 1” ding at an edge with the porcelain chipped off.
